We can all agree that our pups have done so many things for us that we are eternally grateful for. Through good times and hard times, our fur friends have stuck with us. They are always there to make a happy moment even more enjoyable or to lighten up our mood when we are feeling down. But our fur friends have become even dearer to us when the year 2020 started, and we all had to stay indoors.
The pandemic had and is continually having a great toll on us both emotionally and physically, but thanks to our pups, we are never left alone. So Hilton has decided to express their thank yous to the supportive pups who bring comfort and joy to our lives. Some selected Hilton hotels have added a special dog menu just for our beloved furry friends. It appears that the dog menu even looks fancier than human menus, but our pups deserve every bit of it!
Last May 17, Hilton officially launched a pet menu for their furry guests. Across Ireland and the United Kingdom, these pet menus are served in 32 hotels. The menu is fittingly named “Bone Appetit.” It includes amazing dishes such as Beef Doguignon, Mutt Roast, Earl Greyhound, and Tailwagger Creek.
The menu was made with great care and was helped to be put together by experts on veterinary nutrition who suggested the best recipes for our fur friend’s health. The menu was also checked and approved by Dog Friendly, a trusted site that helps fur parents locate pet-friendly restaurants and hotels in the UK. Some may say that what they are doing for dogs is too much. However, every pup deserves to be pampered and spoiled.
A survey among fur parents conducted by Hilton revealed that 82% of British fur parents consider their pups as a support aid during the pandemic. Many agreed that our pups are just as supportive as our human friends or family members. So it is just right that Hilton came up with a menu for our pups as gratitude.
