Not being able to see and interact physically with family and friends has been one of the most difficult challenges we are going through during our pandemic quarantine. Not just for us humans, but also for our pet dogs who have been so used to going out for walks, jogs, and playdates.
A viral video of two best doggie pals accidentally seeing each other after a month of quarantine has been adored by netizens and has reached 3.6 million views and 843,000 likes. I guess we can all relate to this emotional reunion.
This happened when owner Stefani Maryn from Hamilton, Ontario, shared on TikTok a video of their walk outside with her rescued pet Samantha, a black Labrador mix.
As Maryn and Samantha were walking, Samatha suddenly saw her best bud across the street and reacted in the most precious and exciting manner a dog can. She barked and jumped with much enthusiasm as they walked towards her best friend, Baldur.
Her best friend, Baldur, is a Brindle Mutt. These two have been the best of friends for over three years ever since Maryn and Samantha moved to the neighborhood from Colorado. Just like Samantha, Baldur is also rescued by his owner Liesl.
Upon seeing each other, the two mutts barked and ran towards each other. They rub noses as they are finally reunited after a month of quarantine.
Stefani explains that this reunion is not staged, even if she had seen Liesl a day before. They both just mentioned how their dogs were doing and how much they both would love to see each other again.
Now, after being unable to do their usual play and run outside together, they missed being together the most. Licking each other has been one of their favorite things to do. And they finally get to do that again, for now.
