Every place that has moving vehicles can be considered a hazard zone, especially for the young ones. That’s why crosswalk attendants are to the rescue. However, in Batumi, Georgia, there was a video of an unusual crosswalk attendant.
It was not a human but rather a stray dog who lives in the area!
It was a beautiful day when Beqa Tsinadze saw and captured the bravery of the stray dog. In the video, there was a group of kids patiently waiting on the other lane. They can’t cross the street yet due to drivers’ refusal to stop.

Even so, the fearless dog saved the day.
The dog’s bark to one car made it stop before it reached the line where pedestrians should walk. When the vehicle stopped, the kids started to cross over the pedestrian lane. Afterward, the dog went back to the kids as if it was securing the way from any possible danger.
However, in the other lane, there was another reckless driver who continued on his way. The driver drove regardless if there were pedestrians on the road. And the group of kids froze in fear in the middle of walking.
The fearless dog again stood up to stop the recklessness. The dog barked as loud as it could, hoping the car would stop. It did not. Luckily, no one got hurt, and the group of kids passed across the street, safe and sound.
This courageous act of a stray dog appeared to be its routine since Tsinadze caught another video of it! No wonder it seemed like the dog was very well practiced doing the role of a crosswalk attendant.
Based on Georgian media, it’s been years since the helpful dog arrived in the area. The neighborhood noticed the loyalty of the dog being a crosswalk attendant. Therefore, they thought that it was his way of being pleased for all the kindness he received from them.
Whatever the reason, this story tells us that being kind to anyone requires only one thing. It doesn’t matter if you have paws or feet and hands – as long as you have a good heart, kindness can be done.
