Dogs are naturally friendly animals, and just about everywhere they go, they are able to spread love and positivity with everyone they meet. A dog’s innate friendliness is what makes them great family pets, especially with children whom they immediately form a bond with.
In this featured video, Paul, the dog, is best friends with their elderly neighbor, Chris. The two hit it way back when Paul was just a puppy. The two would regularly meet at the Cumberland Farms, where Chris would wait for Paul to arrive.
Ever since then, Chris and Paul have become inseparable. They love to be around one another, and as an elderly gentleman, Chris finds Paul’s presence a therapeutic experience that heals even one’s soul.
Paul would be excited every time they would go meet with Chris, and Chris never disappoints Paul. Every time they arrive at the Cumberlands Farm, Chris would already be there waiting for his buddy, armed with treats for his best friend.
Unfortunately, when the Coronavirus pandemic happened, the best friends were forced to social distance from one another. Worse still, when the lockdown started, Chris became ill, and his neighbors, including Paul, were worried about him, and they had no idea if he was even alright.
After months of not seeing each other, Paul and his owner passed by the Cumberlands Farm, and just as they had hoped, Chris was there waiting for them! Paul was very happy to see that his best friend was alright, and both shared a well-deserved hug.
Chris was also happy to see his buddy, and he never even forgot to bring treats for Paul even when he wasn’t expecting to see them that day. What friendship! Goes to show how special a bond with a dog is.
