Not all dog owners see the value of having a pet dog. In some cases, these people leave the dogs tied outdoors their entire lives and these dogs often end up becoming anxious, aggressive, and scared of everything. Dogs should be treated like they’re part of the family and they will certainly give their humans unconditional love.
A little dog named Halo lived his entire life tied in the backyard. Halo didn’t have the best life and he lived in horrible conditions. What’s even more heartbreaking was that Halo wanted love so much that he welcomed his rescuers with open arms. Halo wasn’t aggressive or scared and all he wanted was to get out of his current situation and be with someone to give him love. Thankfully, Halo was rescued by a woman named Holly.
When Holly first approached Halo, Halo didn’t bark or show aggressive behavior. Halo just wanted cuddles from Holly and he was so excited to see someone coming near him. Holly assumed that Halo was tied up in the yard his entire life and he was never shown love by his owners. Holly eventually freed Halo from his chains and as soon as Holly led Halo outdoors, Halo didn’t even have to think twice.
When Holly brought Halo back to her home, Halo was so excited and anxious. Halo was running around everywhere and he didn’t quite know what to do. It took Halo three days to completely decompress and relax in his new environment. Holly knew that it was going to be tough to find a foster home for Halo. So, she decided that she’s going to be the one fostering the adorable pooch.
Eventually, Holly introduced Halo to her dogs and Halo got along so well with the other dogs in the house. Halo soon learned dog things from the other dogs and he eventually started acting more like a dog. Holly would also take Halo to the beach, which is his favorite place in the world. Halo loves the feeling of sand on his feet and gets to run in wide-open spaces.
Holly soon realized that she’s already in love with Halo. Holly saw that Halo was finally in his forever home. So, Holly decided to foster-fail and make Halo a permanent part of her family. Here’s a heartwarming video of Halo’s rescue, how he learned to be a dog, and how his loving personality won over his foster mom.
